Recruitment is a fast-paced industry. There is a lot that goes into matchmaking the perfect working relationship. There can be short deadlines, high expectations and long days. To counteract this, the office has been transformed into a fun atmosphere to allow the team to relax.

Giving Back To Our Community

We have always seen the importance of giving back as a company and have donated a lot of our time and money into raising funds for important causes. Our charity support has included bike rides (London to Paris and London to Brighton), a 24-hour treadmill office challenge, Tough Mudder, suummer BBQ events, raffle donations for local causes, and office collections that make us eat cake and dress up in questionable costumes. Additionally, we've done Apprentice-style challenges where the team competed to raise the most amount of money and all proceeds went to charity.

Team Building

Since the start of Spectrum IT Recruitment, the team bond has been important. There are feelings of genuine friendship without the need for overriding hierarchy. To be a Spectrobot is about sharing knowledge with each other, sharing our skills and avoiding the cut-throat culture which a lot of recruitment companies face.

Every year on our company birthday we like to treat our team to say thank you for the hard work that they put in every day. Our adventures have included company sports days (see video below), Apprentice-style challenges, raft building, Battle Field Live, rib boat racing, a treasure hunt and a day at Salisbury Racecourse.
