Please submit references which cover the last 5 years’ of your employment.

In this instance, one reference is completely fine. Please give us the details of a Manager who still works at the company, so we can obtain a reference.

We understand it can be a sensitive time, and we want this period to go as smoothly as possible for you. Your consultant will liaise with you to avoid any issues. For this reason, please be clear when you will/have handed in your notice.

Due to the Data Protection Act 1998, the company will be unable to share this information of yours with us. Your consultant will liaise with the company to avoid referees being unnecessarily contacted twice.

It is more beneficial for us to have your Manager’s details, however, if this is the only option which you have, then it is completely fine. We understand it is a strict policy with some companies.

You can either submit this form as many times as you need, or alternatively email these references to admin@spectrumit.co.uk. These are the details we need for each referee: Name of Employer; Company; Their Job Title; Contact Number; Email Address; Any Additional Notes.

We understand it is unnecessary to request too many referee details from you. Please email this concern to admin@spectrumit.co.uk and we will work with you, using your CV on our records, to agree a reasonable request which covers our requirements.

Please supply us with a copy of your passport / driving licence. If applicable, supply us with a copy of your Visa. Never send Spectrum IT Recruitment your actual ID; only a copy is required. We can not be held responsible for ID which has been lost in the post.

We can also accept a clear photograph of your ID. Alternatively, you can bring your ID during a visit to our office and we can scan it in for you.
