Overview
De La Rue has been with us since almost the very beginning of Spectrum IT – within the first few weeks of us being set up – and it’s one of our longest-standing relationships.
At the time, they were working on the British Passport project and were in need of talented Software Engineers to build out the platform and services in a secure and timely fashion. The internal HR team was struggling to find the volume of skilled candidates required for the project through other agencies, with an urgent need to grow the team fast, without compromising on the quality of its workforce.
Spectrum IT rose to the challenge, quickly learning what the company needed and using our industry expertise to meet their requirements. As part of our work, we provided Salary Benchmarking and introduced process efficiencies to reduce the interview stages and minimise hiring bottlenecks.
Since then, we’ve supported De La Rue with over 30 permanent hires and over 20 contractor hires, including hiring a contract test function consisting of six Quality Assurance Engineers.
