Overview

Spectrum IT has been working with SaaS company Prevalent Ltd since April 2021. They were looking to build out their team with several hires, but were struggling to attract top talent, having the time to filter applicants and had inefficient screening and interview processes. They were trying to hire directly and sporadically working with another agency, with one HR manager and no internal talent acquisition team.

Our first job was to provide salary surveys and key information on market averages, as well as best-practice advice for their processes. We qualified all their vacancies in detail and provided several options for different approaches to ease the hiring burden. Together we built an efficient process, outsourcing the first screening call to Spectrum IT directly. This allowed us to filter hundreds of applicants to a shortlist of a few suitable candidates per role for the hiring manager who then conducted a two-stage interview process. The turnaround time for applicants went from 3-4 weeks down to 5-7 days on average.

Since we began working with them, we’ve placed 20 out of 21 technical hires, and the Development team has grown from just 6 to 21 engineers, going from strength to strength. Candidate retention is 95%, with just one candidate leaving the role due to relocation.
