Spectrum IT announce Charity of the Year 2019
14 Jan, 20194 MinutesSpectrum IT Recruitment are pleased to announce our partnership with The Brain Tumour Charity as our charity of the year with a goal of fundraising £3,000 in 2019. This charity is particularly special and meaningful to us as a business.
We will be working in partnership with The Brain Tumour Charity, organising a whole host of awareness and fundraising events throughout the year to help raise vital funds for those people affected by a brain tumour.
To kickstart our fundraising efforts, we were kindly donated a signed Southampton ‘Saints’ Football shirt which has been auctioned for £300.
Last Christmas, we took part in our own Festive Fashion event by celebrating Christmas Jumper Day on Thursday 13th December. Employees dressed up in their favourite festive sweaters and donated to join in the festive fun, raising £59.10.
A regularly stocked Tuck shop box has been provided in our breakout area with a collection pot for staff to make a donation to when they purchase an item.
We also have some willing volunteers who will be taking part in the London South Tough Mudder this September. Watch this space! Tough Mudder is an endurance event series, our participants will attempt a 5k loop of mud-soaked mayhem loaded with 13 best-in-class obstacles. Let the training commence.
Ian Cruickshank, Sales Director said, “We are really excited to get involved with the Brain Tumour Charity this year and have already planned some fun, collaborative fundraising events.”
Over the next year, we ask that you look out for Spectrum’s fundraising efforts and support us however you can. We really want to help The Brain Tumour Charity make a difference to those people affected.
