In this beginner-friendly talk, we'll cover the main concepts and tools you need to know about, and how you can maximise your effectiveness with them. This will include a look at the strengths and weaknesses of using LLM-based code assistants like GitHub Copilot, as well as the benefits and pitfalls of integrating LLMs to add natural-language capabilities into your own applications.
Mark Heath is a software developer and architect based in Southampton, working for NICE systems building digital evidence management systems. He's a Microsoft MVP and has authored over 20 Pluralsight courses, and specializes in .NET, Azure and audio programming.
